ok. so i did like adriana and i did. i really did. but i loved gigi from the get go. pre rex. so when they started having scenes togther i was hooked.

so today. rex walking out on her... i have to say i was excited. not that i expect him to go back to gigi right off the bat.

i have to admit that adriana was really amazing today, melissa is still one of the best out there. and she never lets me down

i just happen to love gigi and rex more hehe

I'm still a little bit of a sporadic OLTL viewer - but Balsco is the reason I started watching. I like their story, and I think there's a lot to tell there...

today, rex told adriana that he wants a divorce. hehehe. she is outta here!!!

whoa! I've really missed a lot! Why does Rex want the divorce? I think Adriana lied to him about something, but I don't recall what.

Adriana had been threatened by Gigi and how much attention Rex was paying to her. So she was the one who brought Brody to town and then lied about it later. She finally told Rex everything today (except that he's Shane's daddy). He wanted a divorce because she's not the Adriana he fell in love with. She told him that all they need is a little time so she can figure out who she is again - she's leaving for Paris to take a job that was offered to her to promote her jean line. He needs space and this is the way she'll give it to him.

I think Balsco are my favourite couple right now... well, even though we havent' seen much of them lately. lol.

I LOVE these two together. I used to love Adrianna and him, but then she got all crazy/bitchy. Plus, Farah and John-Paul have some amazing chemistry going on. That, and I have loved Farah since her Mimi days.

Brianna, are you really saying Balsco is your total fav couple, or just on OLTL? Say it ain't so! j/k

I've loved FF since her mimi days as well...she never got showcased on DOOL enough, I don't think. Which is a shame, cuz she is a great actress.

I loved the scenes that Rex and Gigi had at the hospital, with Rex telling Gigi about Adrianna and how she paid Brody. They speak to each other with this honesty that is so refreshing.

I'm wondering though, why it isn't more awkward. Gigi stood up and said she was in love with Rex, and they kind of just go along like that never happened?

they had a scene at the BE meeting. got the weirdness out there. rex said he didnt want to talk about it but gigi insisted. she didnt want it to b weird with them. then nash fell and he protected her. :D after that they kinda went back to the friends.

thanks for filling me in. I'm glad that they're still friendly, but man...I don't thikn I'd be over that awkwardness so fast.

I'm impressed that Rex isn't 'smug' about it, you know, all...you care about me yada yada...I could see some guys letting that get to their heads. To his credit, he seems really conflicted.

but i guess he was trying not to make gigi feel bad after the wedding and b4 all the lies come out. since they were friends back in the day and he loves shane so much...

i about died yesterday when they were in the diner together and he said they had to talk about the "ILY" EEE!!! i flipped and had to watch that scene over and over and over and over and over...i think u get the picture lol

Rex and Gigi are my all time favorite couple in soaps right now, even though they're not officially a couple yet... Haha! But they got to kiss during yesterday's episode, so I was loving that!

Gigi has made it clear there's nothing between her and Brody, but I have a feeling that Rex, being the stand up guy he is, will try to step back because he believes that Brody is Shane's father. brickwall::

It's interesting though that Gigi made it pretty clear to Rex that he's the one she wants and that she isn't interested in Brody. He's simply there for Shane.

And Brody is basically telling Rex to back off. From what I hear, Rex isn't a pushover, yeah? So wouldn't he at least attempt to be with Gigi? So much angst I don't know what to do with myself!

Yes, Gigi made it very clear that Rex was the only one she wants. No, Rex isn't a push over, BUT... he grew up thinking that the wrong man was his father. Then he thought Charlie was his father, and was stoked that he had finally found his father, then he was let down when he found out that Charlie and Roxy had been lying to him about that. He became close with Shane because he thought that Shane's father had been killed in the service. Now that Shane has his "real" father back, Rex will more than likely look at it as he needs to back away and give Gigi and Brody a chance to become a family for Shane. At least for awhile anyways...hahahah! I hope that DOESN'T happen, but it's a possibility.

I hope not LOL. I adored Balsco these past two days so much I couldn't contain my excitement - I really hope they don't drag this secret of Shane's real father being kept from Rex too much longer.

I think Rex could go either way. He knows the feeling is mutual but he may back off to give Shane that family-type environment. I hope that's not the case though. I hope Gigi finally tells Rex the truth because I'm getting sick of watching her constantly try to tell him and then something/someone interrupts brickwall::

I agree. I mean, the girl has tried to tell Rex several times. Yeah, Gigi was in the wrong for keeping it from him in the beginning, but once she realized that he was going to be living in the same town as her and Shane, she's tried several times to come clean with Rex about the paternity. But in true soap fashion, I'm sure at first, Rex will hold it against her. THEN HE'LL COME TO HIS SENSES and they'll start planning their future together!!!

Yeah I agree with you on that one too, Sue. It wouldn't seem likely of a soap to write Rex's first reaction (when he finds out) as some happy discovery. I too think he's gonna be really mad at Gigi at first, but in the end he will definitely come to his senses. And if he doesn't then the writers are ridiculously stupid for not putting the two together. :lol:

im almost fearful of his first reaction. i dont want him taking it out on gigi to much.

I like the drunken Bo as well! I actually hope it's reavealed that Bo is somehow Rex's father. I love the two of them as a father/son duo.
