at first i didnt like him much. even after he showed up at the wedding all clean cut and sharp in his suit i was still not liking him

but today. wow. the way he was with gigi. taking care of her, listening to her. im not all against brody now. and im not even against him and gigi... (but i want rex more. let brody make rex jealous)

point: im starting to really like brody after today

OK, I am a bad fan...I haven't even "seen" Brody yet...I've read about him, and what he's done, but I haven't seen a scene with him in it yet. What's his backstory? Does he still care about Gigi, and for real, not just because Dorian/Adrianna brought him to town?

his back story:

gigi got preg with rex's baby but he left her to find his sis, natalie, and she never got to tell him about the baby. so gigi meets brody who agrees to b the kids dad. he really was into her then. he got shipped out. brodys mom called up gigi and told her that brody was killed in action. so thats y gigi told shane that in the first place. she thought it was true. but really, he was alive. when he returned home, mommy dearest told brody that gigi had run off with some other guy. so brody, im assuming, started to drink, and threw himself back into the army.

when adriana found him, he was drunk off his ass. when he first saw her, he thought it was gigi and planted one on her. so im assuming he still loves her. he watched her from afar. crying over rex and the look in his eyes shows affection. he still has feelings for her, that it for sure. wheather its love or not has yet to b seen.

but the scene that i loved was when gigi came back after nash fell through the skylight. he saw that she was in shock and helped her. he held her in his arms and let her know he was there and that everything was going to b alright.

that was the last time we have seen gigi or brody

a real quad for sure b4 adriana left! now she is leaving so rex can c gigi with brody and shane :) the truth has to come out at some point!

sweetie.....RC is writing circles, leaps, bounds over Guza. More soapy goodness happens on OLTL in one week than during a whole sweeps on GH. (Any good stuff, anyways) And I'm totally serial.

I heart Brody. I wish Adrianna was sticking around...I think those two woulda been cute together. I didnt like him at first either, but I really like him now.

LOL, you're totally serial? OK then! But you're right, the writing for OLTL is so much better, and I can tell that just by reading recaps of what's going on! guz needs to end his tenure at GH. That show is killing me right now. KILLING me.

I don't mind him. Actually I kinda like him - besides he's kinda nice too look at. :)

nice to look at? *ashamed* so it's been so long since I've actually SEEN oltl and not just read recaps that I don't know what the guy looks like. Oops.

Haha. I'd definitely invest in OLTL rather than GH - it's so much better, seriously.

But Steevz...*see my screen-name* - my heart still beats a little for GH. It's sad, and ridiculous, I know.

But I will catch OLTL on soapnet tonight. Today's eppy sounded far too good.

OLTL is far better than GH. GH used to have my heart, but OLTL has stolen it.

So I watched last night, and Brody is so cute with Shane!!! And it looks like he really cares about Gigi. Ack! Triangle alert (with Adrianna out of the picture).

So question - what's this about Brody giving Shane a "cold one"

i actually missed most of that day.

but gigi left broady alone with shane for a few and came home to find shane about to drink a beer of broadies. gigi got onto both of them and shane said a few things about hating his mom. then gigi and broady talked and then shane and brody talked. brody told shane to apoligize to his mom and that he was wrong in giving him a beer.

brody is trying to b the dad, but is stumbling a bit. he is getting better at it though

thanks for filling me in on the beer incident. Um, it shouldn't take a genius to know that a kid Shane's age shouldn't be knocking one back.

And now that Gigi knows that Brody took some money from Adrianna to come to town...I wonder how he's going to play this out!

i just feel bad for shane when the truth comes out that rex is really his daddy. but i think in the end he will b hapy. he loves rex and rex loves him. its just gigi is going to get the brunt of it

I think Brody and Shane are bonding too though...which will make it so hard for everyone involved.

Though sometimes I think Shane has an extreme "hero worship" thing going on with Brody - that could be bad in the end.

I'm loving Brody more and more each day. Ugh, I'm torn because I'm starting to really like Gigi and Brody together, but I love Rex and Gigi together. Oh no!
